Welcoming staff is the reason I would stay here again. The hotel is clean, pleasant and has marvellous location near the cathedral. The rooms are tastefully decorated and cosy with pleasant views. They have lots of meals to choose from, the food is brilliant. It offers excellent service.

The location in a domestic area was particularly good and there were the Christmas market and a market nearby. It was a pleasant hotel, I will choose it for sure next trip.

The shower temperature was more hot than cold, a bit of a challenge when you're expecting a cool rinse. The decor feels rather worn, with certain elements like the radiator being non-functional and a portable heater awkwardly completing the heating setup. Breakfast service could improve. Items like toast weren't offered consistently, and some dishes seemed fried rather than cooked to order. While the breakfast choices are plentiful, the execution left something to be desired.

The room was cozy with lovely roof windows allowing a nice view of the night sky, but there were cleanliness issues like dust in hard-to-reach places.

I had a great time enjoying the delicious breakfast and the comfortable room, while also being just a short stroll away from the beautiful Ely Country Park and the fascinating Ely Castle, perfect spots for leisurely weekend walks and scenic views.

The location was fantastic, just a short stroll from town. We enjoyed a cozy, clean room that fit our large family perfectly, and breakfast was a great way to fuel up for our adventures. The spaciousness made it nice for the kids.
In my wife's opinion, the heating could be much better. It was too cold for our family, and we struggled to stay warm during the night.

The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfy bed, made for a restful night. The breakfast served in the morning was delicious, with plenty of options available. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring Ely-just a short walk to the city center.
